uncommon depth and richness. Her unique style imparts a sense
of weight and structure to her paintings not often associated

still life compositions resonate with color and vibrant shadows.
Adams uses a looser more abstract approach to her figurative
work, often depicting city scenes in the rain. Her landscape
pieces capture the subtle mood of the mystery of nature.

Jennifer Baker, Glass and Clay Artist -Merging kiln-cast glass with raku-fired ceramics, and their diverse yet compatible kinetic properties, continues to redefine my latest body of work. Exploring different ways to develop pieces that speak to our humanity, which prompts our hearts to smile, and also reminds us to think with more compassion, is most fulfilling. Gentle to the eyes and graceful in shape and color, I feel great joy drawing attention to harmony found in life ... imperfections and all.

Dee Dushkes -Portraiture, throughout the ages has always fascinated me. Did the artist capture and represent this person or was it just one facet of their life? My focus is on daily human interaction and how the subjects perceive their world and how others perceive them. I use portraiture not to define the individual, but create more of a mystique.

LIGHT. A photograph presents a single split second moment in
time. In that frozen moment, when all the elements are working,
powerful subject matter, good composition, and most important
uncommon light, have the ability to reach deep in the psyche

Frank Field -Frank Field is a landscape photographer specializing in images of coastal Sonoma, Marin and Mendocino Counties. Based at The Sea Ranch, his images convey a sense of the serenity and natural beauty of the North Coast. These messages of beauty and serenity are repeated at all scales in nature and thus his work includes both grand and intimate landscapes.
Susan Field -I've been working as an artist for 27 years. My work is mainly sculptural in form and reflects my interest in materials such as fur, metal, quills, beads and stones. I like connecting unlike things. Sewing by hand is an important part of my process, not only for aesthetic reasons, but because its slow labor allows me to reflect on the work over time.

His landscapes vibrate with color and light. To approach one of his prints is to become immersed in every elaborate facet and nuance of his subject. He is currently represented by The Konrad Gallery in Geyserville, California.
Marilee Ford -The most satisfying moments in creating a piece of art come when I have so entered into that "other" space that the work reflects the life of the object I have painted. That means the rocks, the tree, the animals, the ocean...when the life in them comes through; I know I've "gotten it." I create because without it I lose touch with what is most important in life, the life of the spirit and the love in each of us. Watercolors, oils and multi-media.

Matter, rendered in graphite and charcoal, is my attempt
to discover the natural artistic expression within myself.
My goal is to combine reality with the dream state, drawing
as spontaneously and intuitively as possible. My hope is that
each viewer's experience will be unique, as when viewing the
formations of clouds or ink blots.

Deoca and I'm a bilingual freelance web designer. I focus
my design abilities in creating user and search engine friendly
websites, while keeping it beautiful and simple. Creating

and that's why I'm so good at it.
Stuppin -Plein Air Landscapes. "Most of my
paintings were executed en plein air. Working outdoors sets
up a dynamic that is different from that of the studio. Everything
is changing wind, weather, light. The act of painting
becomes process art. It is a performance. The kinetic scene
prompts an urgent concentration. I find myself in a state
where the subconscious takes over and time has no dimension."

Talbott -My art reflects years of painting and
work in the field to better know my varied subjects. The base

D. Kadah Tanaka -My focus is predominately on nature
in all her splendor -to capture the beauty that is inherently
there, but with a purpose. That purpose is to invoke peaceful,
meditative emotions in the viewer, and to see the beauty that
is often overlooked. I wish to generate a feeling of calmness;
convey a meditative quality in my work, one that makes the
viewer become more contemplative, introspective -and take
time out from the frenzied aspects of their lives and dive
deeper into their own inner consciousness.

Joan Wale -In
the early 1990’s I dove into watercolor and I have been
swimming, paddling and splashing ever since. I love to let
the paint do what it does so well: move around the paper.
I paint lots of florals, but from my head not my garden; but
I also love to make up architecture. Most everything I do
is abstracted to some degree but I surprise myself and others
at times and become very realistic. I am an active member
of the Watercolor Artists of Sonoma County (WASCO) and the
Upstairs Gallery in Healdsburg.

Lathan Weigand -Ceramics is a very humanistic

and I hope this comes through in my paintings.
